Does that mean that informational notes are not referenced on master and journeyman electrical examinations?
No. Any jurisdiction having authority, meaning any city or state that governs the issuing or permits has the right to adopt part, all or even none of the National Electrical Code. Many jurisdictions that have adopted the NEC have also adopted the informational notes contained therein.
